Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breakers

The Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker is manufactured in 11KV, 22KV and 33KV configurations. The Vacuum Circuit breaker is manufactured is of PCESVAC type. The entire unit is indigenously designed, manufactured, assembled and tested at our works. The Indoor vacuum circuit breaker comprises of panel, breaker chamber, CT & PT chamber, busbar chamber and metering chamber. The required clearances are maintained between all load and non-loading bearing members and the unit is manufactured completely in accordance with IS/IEC Standards

The Indoor vacuum circuit breaker is manufactured with following safety features.

  1. The breaker cannot be moved from test to service position without closing the breaker compartment door
  2. The breaker cannot be moved from test to service position and vice-versa if the breaker is in closed condition
  3. The breaker cannot be closed in between test and service position
  4. The breaker compartment door cannot be opened if the breaker is in service position or in between test and service position

Special Features

A special feature of the breaker truck is the double action auxillary plug which makes the system fully draw out. There is no cumbersome manual plugging as the draw out operation itself takes care of everything. The draw out operation makes first and breaks last.

The Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker is completely type tested at CPRI, Bangalore.
